Our Standard
We build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That applies to this site and to every site we deliver. It isn't an upgrade or an add-on, it's part of the build. Accessibility work happens as the site is made, not as a pass at the end.
What That Means in Practice
Every image carries meaningful alternative text. Every form input has a real label, and validation errors are tied to the input they belong to and announced to screen readers rather than only shown in red. The whole site can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element and no keyboard traps. Colour is never the only way we signal meaning, so errors and states carry an icon or wording too.
Motion
This site has an animated background and scroll-driven motion. If your device or browser is set to reduce motion, all of it is disabled automatically: smooth scrolling falls back to native scrolling and entrance animations are skipped, so content simply appears in place. There is also a pause control fixed to the bottom-right of the screen that stops the background motion at any time, whatever your system settings say.
Contrast and Zoom
Body text is checked against a 4.5:1 contrast minimum and large text against 3:1, measured rather than estimated. Layouts are built to survive 200% browser zoom without clipping text or forcing horizontal scrolling, and every section is tested down to a 375px-wide screen.
How We Test
Automated tools only catch roughly a third of real accessibility problems, so we don't stop at a score. Each site gets an automated audit plus a manual pass: navigating the entire site by keyboard only, checking that focus order makes sense, and confirming that forms announce what happened after you submit them.
Known Limitations
The animated background on this homepage is decorative and is hidden from assistive technology, so it is never read aloud or focusable. It does require WebGL; on devices without it the page falls back to a static background and everything else works normally.
